The company is managed by Dany Gauthier and Nadia Gauthier (his daughter). Émilie Gauthier (Dany's daughter; Nadia's sister 😉) also helps with the company's strategy and marketing. DDG is the project of a family. If needed, the sons-in-law also lend a hand. Our delivery drivers and factory workers are treated like family—let's say they're the family we choose! What do you mean by local products and products from here?
We always prioritize products from Quebec and Canada. However, some varieties of fish or seafood are not available in Canada. In those cases, we choose suppliers who meet standards on par with Canadian agri-food regulations.

What defrosting method do you recommend?
Ideally, you should defrost slowly in the refrigerator. For a faster defrosting method, you can place your products in cold water. We recommend following the guidelines from MAPAQ (Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Quebec) for safe defrosting.
