Distribution Dany Gauthier Inc. is committed to complying with all applicable consumer protection laws, including those of the Québec Office of Consumer Protection.

 

If you wish to exchange an item you have purchased or request a refund, you must notify Distribution Dany Gauthier Inc. at the following address: [email protected] within 15 days of receiving the item.

Non-compliant or defective products

If a product received does not match what was ordered or has a defect, you have 15 days from the delivery date to request a refund or an exchange.
Please contact us at [email protected] with the following information:

-A photo of the product in question (unopened, in its original packaging, and frozen if applicable)

-The reason for your request (defect, wrong item, etc.)

-The purchase invoice, order date, and delivery date

-Your full contact information (name, address, phone number)

A member of our team will review your request and schedule a product pickup if needed.

Other Specific Situations

Change of mind or order error
Please note that a change of mind or a mistake made at the time of purchase does not automatically entitle you to a refund or exchange. Each request will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and no return will be accepted without prior authorization.

One-year warranty
All of our products come with a 12-month warranty. In such cases, the same steps as for a non-compliant product apply.

Out-of-stock items
If a product is out of stock, we will offer you an equivalent or higher-quality replacement at no additional cost. If no suitable alternative is available, a full refund will be issued.

Shipping and delivery

Free home delivery across Québec through our internal network of professional delivery drivers.

In-store pickup available at our warehouse located at 470 rue de la Science, Alma (during business hours).

Delivery to remote regions (Nunavik, Lower North Shore, etc.) is available through our specialized partners (e.g., Air Inuit, Bella Desgagnés...)

We do not charge any delivery fees, regardless of the order amount or destination. (Some exceptions may apply in cases of extreme conditions.)

Actual delivery date and receipt

Once your order has been placed:

You will receive a confirmation email with the scheduled delivery date.

The delivery driver will call you approximately one hour before arrival to confirm.

No orders are left outside, as our products are not packaged in insulated boxes. Someone must be present to receive the delivery.
Deliveries are made using a refrigerated vehicle, and all products are frozen. They should be placed in the freezer immediately upon receipt.

Delivery time
Orders are usually delivered within an average of one week.
No deliveries or pickups are made on weekends.
